. . . To Visit Friends

This past weekend we were blessed to spend time with our friends Kevin and Lisa Reed and their two boys Parker and Kamden. We also got to visit our church family at East County. Here are a few pictures of our fun together. It was really hard to leave as Caspian illustrated on the chalk board before we left. Aemelia and Caspian keep asking when we get to go back to Kamden and Parker's house. We are blessed by such wonderful friends and treasure the time we have with them! It's so sad to say goodbye - so we'll just say till next time! Love you guys!!

. . . The Best Daddy In The World

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY

Aemelia Loves Her "Best Daddy in the Whole World"

Caspian does too!

Avaleigh only has eyes for you, Daddy!

And I love you more everyday for traveling with me on this road of parenthood.

I'm sure, like me, you often feel

When all is said and done

The job of raising kids today

Is not an easy one.

I'm glad you're there beside me

To counsel and advise

And help me find the answer

To their never ending "whys?"

I'd be lost without your shoulders

So much broader than my own

To lean upon when problems

Seem too big to solve alone.

As long as we're together

We can weather storm and strife

And take in stride the ups and downs

That go with family life.

And someday when our little ones

Are old enough to stand

Straight and tall without the need

Of any helping hand.

We won't recall how hard it was

We'll just be proud and glad

We happened to be chosen

For the roles of Mom and Dad!

(We can recite this poem together while we're on our way to Europe for that vacation we're always dreaming about.)

Happy Father's Day to the Best Daddy in the Whole Wide World! I Love You!

. . . the Price Family goes Incognito AKA: "Price Family Mustache Day"

Some days you just need to wear a fake mustache . . .

Caspian started the idea . . .

He really likes to give Mom kisses while he's wearing it.

"Yes Senorita, may I help you?

Can't you just see this in Ava's eyes . . . "What kinda family is this?"

And I have to admit that the publishing of this blog update has been delayed because although Mom and Dad wanted to join in the fun, our vanity got the best of us and we had to pause for retake photos . . . and yet this is still the best Mom and Dad could do.

Oh well, at least the kids are cute!

. . . Graduation

Caspian graduated from Preschool last night and is ready (I mean standing at the door dressed with his backpack when I woke up) to go to Kindergarten today. We had a good time last night at the celebration. Caspian did great. Funny thing is I didn't cry when he went to Preschool but I was teary eyed during graduation, go figure. I love this kid - he's definitely going places.

(Just a note - it was 16 years ago tonight that I graduated from High school - who would have thought . . . )

Here is an update on the other two.

Aemelia fell asleep like this 2 nights ago in Daddy's arms - I promise we didn't pose her like this. Definitely a photo to save for future use.

Ava is growing everyday - her smile is infectious! It is so amazing to see a child's personality develop - God is Good.
