I miss falling to sleep to the fragrance of lilacs. Our neighbors have a huge lilac bush that just happens to be outside our bedroom window. A couple of days ago when the weather was so much warmer the fragrance of lilacs was intoxicating. It would waft into the house as we had our fans on trying to temper the heat. My favorite time was getting into bed, closing my eyes and being enveloped in the wonderful fragrance of the lilacs as the heat of the day just seemed to make them smell so much more pungent. Now that the weather has cooled down again I haven't noticed the lilacs as I drift off to sleep.

We have three lovely lilacs in our yard- one in front, right by Eliana's window. I myself am getting ready to begin missing that smell, but for a different reason! They are dying already! It's such a short window for those lovelies; I try to enjoy them while I can, and clip them for the table every day until they're gone.
I'll think of you when I inhale their fragrance- thanks for the lovely post! I've had such fun catching up with you and your cuties- keep up all the pictures! Love it! And I love you!
